Jason Joseph equals his Swiss record


Jason Joseph equaled his Swiss record at the 110 m Haies Friday at the Paris meeting (13”07). The Basel took third place in this race disputed as part of the Diamond League.

Already the author of a very good chrono in series (13”09), the bronze medalist of the 2024 European Championships was only beaten by the Americans Trey Cunningham (13”00) and Dylan Beard (13”02) at the Charléty stadium. Olympic champion Grant Holloway finished 5th in 13”11.

Winner of the previous 110 m HEAD DIAMOND LEAGUE in Rome two weeks ago, Joseph continues his rise in power three months from the Worlds of Tokyo (September 13-21). After an average departure, the 26 -year -old Hurdleur made his power speak at the end of the race to make up for several competitors.

Joseph had not run as quickly since September 2023, when he had entrenched a hundredth from his previous record in front of his audience, in Basel.

Moser blocked at 4m63

Angelica Moser for her part took 4th place in the Perche competition. After spending the 4m63 bar on her first try, the 27 -year -old Zurich woman missed her three attempts at 4m73, as during the Stockholm meeting last week.

The holder of the Swiss record (4m88) was beaten by three Americans: Katie Moon, Sandi Morris and Emily Grove.
