No self -medication!
Other drugs disrupt renal functioning: anti-inflammatory drugs such as ibuprofen, high dose aspirin, diabetes or even simple antibiotics. In addition, certain neuroleptics, antiparkinsonian, antidepressants, vasoconstrictors or thyroid hormones can worsen thermoregulation problems. As for antimigrainely, they prevent dilation of vessels or reduce perspiration. Finally, sleeping pills or anxiolytics decrease vigilance and therefore the ability to adapt our behavior to fight heat.
Faced with these observations, the temptation could be great to interrupt its treatment during the heat wave. It is however the worst solutions. Maladie recalls it firmly: “Nothing justifies stopping treatment, or even reducing it or interrupting it for a few days.” And in the same vein, “it is strongly advised not to practice any self -medication, even punctual, without taking the advice of the attending physician or your pharmacist. »»
