A young lawyer for the Quebec bar was arrested in possession of 40 kilos of cocaine, while driving in Montreal driving his luxurious Mercedes two weeks ago in the metropolis.
Simon-Didier Perron was arrested on July 9 at the request of the Gatineau police officers, who have been investigating him for a while.
In his car, the police have discovered nearly 40 kilos of cocaine, whose resale value amounts to around $ 4 million.

Perron was then released, but he was again arrested a week later, when the Gatineau police came to his home to take a search.

Simon-Didier Perron appeared under nine counts, including drug trafficking, possession of cocaine in order to make the traffic and possession of a prohibited firearm.
The fallen lawyer remained detained following his appearance and must return before the judge in the coming days to undergo his survey on release.
The young man from the Outaouais was struck off from the Quebec bar last year for having failed to pay his annual contributions or not to have provided his annual registration form on time.
