The community of southern communes (CCSUD) inaugurated, this Wednesday morning in Bandrélé, the digital bus of France Services. Designed as part of the fight against the digital divide, this bus will travel 27 villages in four municipalities in the south of Mayotte. For the occasion, a presentation of the bus planning is planned, accompanied by a guided tour and a meeting with France Services agents. The latter will play a key role in the accompaniment of the inhabitants throughout the tours. « We are there on a daily basis, either to help them create an email address, or to support them in their first steps with digital tools »Explains Tchanazi McColo, France Services coordinator for the itinerant bus of the CCSUD. Anyone, whether job seeker or not, and whatever their age, can thus benefit from personalized digital support, aimed at facilitating both online administrative procedures and those carried out on paper.
« I think it will change in terms of people who are in financially difficulty who are forced to go to Mamoudzou to France work “Confides Joallan, a resident of Nyambadao. Happy that this operation has been put in place, it highlights the importance of bringing public services closer to the most isolated citizens.
Several official speeches have marked the event, including that of the president of the CCSUD, the president of the departmental council and the prefect of Mayotte. Funded up to € 150,000 by the Departmental Council via the social development fund, the digital bus is accompanied by the signing of several key agreements, in particular with France work, the Banque des Territoires, the Prefecture, the GIP Carif-ear and the CCAS of Bandrélé.
