(Keystone-ATS) “The installation dating from 1954 was modernized with a new water treatment system, infinity stainless steel basins, an enlarged non-singer or swimmer space and equipped with a quick current, a brand new paddling pool and water games for the little ones, temperate showers and a double Beach-Volley field,” said the city.
From an energetic point of view, the night cover system will make it possible to make substantial savings, she added. The renovation of technical installations, basins, buildings, external arrangements excluding planting new trees cost 11.5 million francs.
The renovation of the swimming pool had lagged behind and the installation had only reopened, at the end of the summer last. The swimming pool had to close prematurely in 2023, following the storm of July 24, which had caused many damage.
Several trees had fell on the lawn of the establishment. The site has since been replanting about fifteen trees.
