This is precisely one of the main pride of Normand Junior Thirnish-Pilot, the festival coordinator. For him, there is nothing more beautiful than seeing children running and having fun in a safe, festive and alcohol -free environment.
We work very hard to amaze the children, it is this kind of thing that attracts me to the festival
he expresses proudly. All this notion of rapprochement between peoples. See the natives and the nods to share and create friendships, I find it really very, very beautiful.

When people come back, I greet them and if they want to have explanations, I help them
he explains. There are some who see the Lynx skins and who ask me if it’s a bear, I tell them “No, it’s a lynx!”

He hopes that the youngest will take example from their grandparents and will spend more moments in the woods, like their ancestors.
I would encourage the youngest to go hunting and trapper, as our fathers and our grandfathers were doing this time. It is the next generation today. We are looking for the next generation.
Artists like the heart of Pirate, Nimuk Kanapé and Paul Daraîche & Girls, among others, went on the stage on Thursday, in front of a warm audience. The Innu Nikamu festival continues until Sunday.
