The Federal Court rejected the appeal of a Jura farmer sentenced to a series of offenses. Similarly, including threats to a municipal councilor and several environmental attacks. In his appeal, the farmer challenged all the offenses held against him and claimed compensation for illegal detention. The federal judges rejected the arguments of the appellant. believing that his argument consisted “to a large extent in a free appreciation of the evidence without demonstrating arbitrariness on the part of the previous bodies”. The legal costs of 1,200 francs were charged to the appellant.
