After leaving Clermont, the first kilometers, although slightly steep, should not cause real selection. On the other hand, two climbs are likely to weigh heavy: the Col du Béal (10.2 km at 5.6 %), immediately followed by the Chansert pass (6.3 km at 5.5 %). To conclude this stage totaling 2,350 meters of elevation gain, the Valcivières coast (4.5 km at 5.3 %), the summit of which is 13 km from the finish, should offer a final opportunity to the climbers to dig the gap.

“The race, part from the huge place of Jaude, Coeur de Clermont-Ferrand, will not leave Puy-de-Dôme. By fairly flat roads, she will win roar where serious things will start. Through a wild landscape of volcanic rocks there will be no more respite to join Ambert ”explains Marion Rousse, the director of the event.
