“La France running”: 14 days, 8 runners, 2,650 km and a festive arrival in Lavelanet

Partners support this event, including the Chamber of Trades and Crafts, in each stage city. In Lavelanet, Mireille Baron, Ariège business relations, held the stand. The effervescence has gradually mounted over the hours. In the morning. an entertainment village was mounted by the organizers with stands of craftsmen and ancestral trades which are an integral part of the race. While waiting for the runners who left Claira (66), at 3 am, music, inflatable games, a clown, songs … Jacqueline Dehodang and André Charrier, pillars of the “la france running”: 14 days, organization, ensure the smallest details and the smooth running of the finish. André Sourdon is serene. Since he created and chaired France, he trusted a formidable team of volunteers. “It is a big investment on their part. there is no improvisation, everything is well settled from one year to the next: the race, the stages cities, the stewardship … Already, we have the course next year.”

Shortly after 4 p.m.. the Sprinter team of the PMU crossed the finish line in the lead, in front of the Ory Immobilier (2nd) and the Eure team (3rd).
