A death in dramatic circumstances marked the weekend of national holidays. At the start of the afternoon on Saturday, the emergency services intervened in Baschleiden, a village in the town of Boulaide, in the north of the country, to help a cyclist who had made a heavy fall on a rugged path as part of a mountain bike hike.
Despite the rapid intervention of the rescuers, the mountain biker, a 34 -year -old Belgian, died at the scene of the accident.

On Sunday, we learned that the prosecution had ordered an autopsy, medical expertise and police identification following the accident. The mobile phone, watch and mountain biking of the deceased were seized and an investigation was opened, to shed light on the circumstances of the accident.
