Many who, since Monday, have been faced with error messages while trying to acquire the digital version of the pass on the Île-de-France Mobilités application.
Delete cards in the “wallet” and take the “draft” approach
Contacted by Le Parisien, IDFM claims not to have received special complaints. “No major problem has been raised by users,” said the authority responsible for transport in Ile-de-France, even specifying: “on the contrary, the reception is for the moment very positive on both social networks and on subscription level”.
IDFM nevertheless details the few steps to follow so as not to encounter problems at the time of registration, or the rocking for those who already have the pass in physical version.
First of all, ÃŽle-de-France Mobilités indicates, for those who wish to subscribe to Liberté +, that it is necessary to remove the already existing transport cards on your smartphone. Concretely, if a user has another means of payment in his “Wallet”, such as tickets per unit or the Navigo day, you have to get rid of it. On iPhone, just go to the “Cards” application, select the pass in question, click on “Card data” then “delete the card”.
Once this approach is carried out, the user must then create a new account on the ÃŽle-de-France Mobilité application. He must then start from scratch and subscribe to the Liberté +offer. IDFM advises, in view of the number of memberships recorded since Monday (20,000 in 48 hours), to carry out this action on a go to avoid possible “bugs”.
Holders of a reduced rate will have to wait
For current holders of a Liberté + badge, it is not possible to transfer their Liberté + subscription to a smartphone, explained IDFM at the time of the launch of this new feature. You must therefore take out a new contract directly on smartphone, even if it’s free. This new membership can be done with the same profile as the old, and activation takes theoretically – only a few minutes.
On social networks, relaxers of freedom + with reduced prices, such as the one awarded to large families, also pointed out of dysfunctions and did not manage to obtain their digital pass. Don’t panic, that’s normal. “The dematerialization of transport titles is progressive”, specifies IDFM to one of these users on X. “First, reduced prices will not be available with Navigo Liberté + dematerialized on smartphone.
