In the initial phase, Thomas Preining clearly settles from his persecutors, the lead over Maro Engel is more than eleven seconds.
Early end for the ring Porsche
The Ring Porsche #347 (Gülden/Sandtler/Hennerici) from the SP-Pro class turns at the airfield. The reason for this is obviously a technical defect, because the vehicle loses liquid. Andreas Gülden initially continues his journey, but has to park the smoking Porsche in the fox tube. That looks like a very early end of the race.

“Grello” leads to the Getspeed-Mercedes #14 and the Kondo-Ferrari #45. One of the big winners of the first round is Augusto Farfus, who has already driven in tenth place with the Rowe BMW #98.

The Dacia does not come off the spot!
False start for one of the crowd favorites: The Dacia Logan does not get off the spot when the introductory round starts. The mechanics put the car with united forces, but of course you don’t want such a start to anyone.
Update: After a round over the Grand Prix route, the Dacia drives to the box.

For all spectators on the route: the medical services are already alarm because they have many dehydrated patients with circulatory problems. With all the fun with alcohol that is absolutely granted, please think of drinking enough water in this weather. After all, the party should not end in the ambulance.

The sporty, not really relevant best time goes to the Abt Lamborghini #27 (Pepper/Bortolotti/Juncadella). A total of only 75 participants went by the wayside.

Clever flat foot at Falken
Team boss Sven Schnabl can give the Falken-Porsche #33 cautious all-clear: “We had a creeping flat foot. We assume that we drove over it. This is of course not so great in the first round of the warm-up. We turned off the car so that the tire stays in one piece. Then we can still analyze it. We’d rather sacrifice the warm-up and what was going on!”
