Two weeks before the Euro, the Blue rises in power. Faced with a Belgium quickly exceeded, France won 5-0 this evening, carried by a Malvine Malard on fire (tripled) and an offensive collective in full confidence. There remains a persistent doubt: a defense still not used.
A serious start, an obvious domination
From the outset, France imposes its rhythm. In the 10th minute, Malard overflows and center for Katoto, who comes up against the Le Havre goalkeeper. This is only a postponement. Seven minutes later, Bacha overflows on the left and center on the ground for Kelly Gago. The surprise holder of the evening scores his very first goal in selection. A simple, clear, effective action.
The Bleues continue, and Malard is already impactful in his shots, slaloming in the surface and seeing his shot diverted in a corner (20th). If the long balloons are sometimes poorly dosed, high and fast recovery allows France to stifle any Belgian revival.
Just before the break, Malard combines in a lucky chain but inspired with Katototo and Mbock, and sends a recovery at the amount of the amount for the 2-0.
Dynamic Diani, a well -established environment
In the second period, Karchaoui, very active in calls in half space, is awarded a powerful strike at close range (60th, 3-0).
Diani’s return to pep. An one-two well negotiated with Toletti leads to an opportunity pushed by the Belgian goalkeeper playing in Le Havre (70th). Malard, untenable, is first deprived of a sumptuous goal (75th, refused for offside), but it is without counting on his passion which allows him to offer himself a hat-trick: first on a beautiful lag of Mateo (78th), then of the head on an adjusted center of Diani (85th). A fabulous match for the Mancunian attacker.
On this match, we can note that the bench players were able to adapt to the game requested by Laurent Bonadei, the latter said at the end of the match: “There is no eleven, there are 23 players from a collective. A beautiful message before a major competition which will claim a strong cohesion.
A full match … but questions
If the offensive animation confirms its beautiful form, the defense remains a work in progress. The reminders are sometimes approximate, and the hinge Lakrar – La, announced as holder this summer, has still not been aligned together. The friendly match against Brazil next week could finally lift the veil on the state of automatisms between the captain and his teammates.
