When everything stops, she starts again. In 2020, Marie is about to go on a trip. Africa, a sabbatical year, the desire to deploy its wings. Then the world freezes. Instead of planes, these are the Belgian trails that she decides to explore. She writes. A lot. A first book is born, imagined as a nod to elsewhere: The world tour in Belgium.
And then comes the water. The Paddle Stand-up, discovered almost by chance, becomes a new space of freedom. Very quickly, it transforms this practice often perceived as a sportswoman into a tool for appeasement and meeting. Its routes, drawn with passion, mix wild landscapes, nature reserves, wasteland and silence.
Behind each walk, there is an intention. Create a link. Offer a time out of time. Gather people who, during a river, allow themselves to be carried – by the current and by the simplicity of a shared moment.
Today, Marie designs micro-adventures that speak of anchoring as much as escape. Through the paddle, yoga or walking, it invites you to reconnect to nature … and to oneself.
