As was the case yesterday already, traffic in Île-de-France is strongly disrupted this Tuesday, June 24 morning. At 9:30 am, the Sytadin Information Service identified more than 410 km of cumulative traffic jams throughout the region’s road network, an “exceptional” situation according to the government site. During a usual morning, the traffic jams do not exceed 300 km.
This situation led to traffic difficulties on several major axes, including A1, A6, A10, A13 motorways and the Parisian peripheral boulevard. Significant slowdowns have also been noted on departmental and national roads.
Several accidents
According to Sytadin, several accidents are behind these difficulties. On the A13 in particular in the province-Paris of Vaucresson (A13XA86) towards Saint-Cloud/D985. On three lanes, one is closed to the left. But also on the N118 in the province-Paris direction, where a light vehicle and a motorcycle are involved in an incident. And finally on the external A104N, where one in three tracks is closed.
The consequences of these disturbances have resulted in significant lengthenings of travel times and difficulties for users going to their work or their appointments.
