If the transfer of the Ukrainian central defender Ilya Zabarnyi seems to have to materialize during the summer, very contradictory information appeared concerning the advance of the negotiations between Bournemouth and PSG in the last hours, so much so that an agreement seems far enough.
All the actors in the file agrees on this point: the Ukrainian central defender Ilya Zabarnyi should sign well to the PSG during the summer transfer window. But at this moment, the transfer is far from being completed between Bournemouth and PSG. By announcing this Friday at the beginning of the afternoon this Friday that negotiations were advancing in the right direction between the two clubs, the newspaper L’Équipe relaunched the assumptions concerning the difficult negotiations between Bournemouth and PSG.
If the French sports newspaper never mentioned in principle which would have made the player transfer a question of details, others have dealt with it. A very close agreement has sometimes been announced between the two clubs which do not really have the same vision of the player’s price. At the end of the afternoon, the independent journalist Fabrizio Romano claimed that the negotiations were at the final stadium between the two clubs, without however advancing the slightest amount between the two parties.
However, this is the whole node of the problem, knowing that Zabarnyi is already agreeing with PSG for a 5 -year contract which would bind it with the Parisian club until 2030. It was mentioned this Friday a new Parisian offer made in Bournemouth to convince the club of the south of England to release its precious central defender. However, this offer has obviously been refused.
The second PSG offer was rejected by Bournemouth
Several sources say that this PSG proposal was immediately refused by the Cherries. The amount is not very clear, however. Sky specialist of Sky Italy, Luca Bendoni thus assures that the offer was 55 million euros plus bonuses in the amount of around 5 million euros, or a total of € 60M. But Bournemouth would always like 70 million for his 22 -year -old Ukrainian, which goes in the opposite direction of information from the team now evoking requests around 60 million.
This information of a refused offer is confirmed on the English side since Ben Jacobs and Alex Crook also claim that the second Parisian offer was refused by Bournemouth, and rather quickly. But the amounts mentioned are much higher, because in books and not in euros. According to them, PSG proposed around 55 million pounds, which corresponds to 65 million euros, but this offer was indeed refused since the Cherries valued Zabarnyi to more than 65 million pounds, which already represents more than 75 million euros!
In this file, the only certainty is therefore Zabarnyi’s strong will to join PSG, which should help the Parisian club which has set its sights on it for months. But the arrival of the Ukrainian still appears as far from being completed and the presence of Parisian leaders on the west coast of the United States, which generates eight hours of jet lag with England, does not help in negotiations as explained by the Team.
