The recalled vehicles are those sold between October 17 and November 12, 2024. They have a defect in the adjustable rear seats, more exactly at the level of their rivets, which are not always properly installed on the rails. Consequently, the seat can sometimes exceed its positioning limit and can therefore detach itself after brutal braking or shock.

To find out if his vehicle is affected by the recall campaign, it is necessary to settle the references inscribed in the European Rapex system. The vehicles targeted are those recorded under the references 17.10.2024 – 12.11.2024 and bearing identification numbers E1*2007/46*1909*27 (F2B). A Mercedes-Benz dealer is able to indicate how to verify. These dealers are then authorized to make the repair, if necessary.
The GLA class SUVs are not the only Mercedes-Benz vehicles currently affected by a recall campaign.
