With the mobile package blocked for 2 hours or those of Sosh, Orange recently changed its offer by adding a major improvement … but in exchange for an increase in the bill. A strategy openly asserted by the company, which does not intend to stop there. Other mobile and internet subscriptions will soon be concerned.
More advantages for Orange subscribers, for a more expensive package
On the occasion of the presentation of the latest operator’s results, Christel Heydemann, CEO of Orange, did not go there by four paths: “We will continue to apply some very targeted price increases, type more for more”.
A shock declaration, which will delight investors and disappoint customers. Indeed, through this notion of “More for more”the manager highlights the fact that improvements will be made to the various packages … in exchange for higher prices applied automatically.
A common practice in the environment, regularly bringing unwanted and sometimes not necessary gains to subscribers, against a few euros. Result: either they accept the increase in the invoice, or they take advantage of the legislation to leave Orange or another operator at no cost – and thus go to see if the grass is greener elsewhere.
To defend himself, Christel Heydemann explains that all operators made pricing increases during the month of July, thus ending the seduction operations operated during the spring, with ever more attractive offers than the other.
Regarding future mobile and internet packages affected by the next increases, advantages and prices, no information has been shared at the time of writing. However, there is a good chance that everyone will be touched, and that the fact that each operator plays on this same table gradually increases the price grid of the whole market.
