NEC has unveiled the Visapro J Ultrallite Type VY, a 13.3 -inch WUXGA professional laptop designed to operate all day thanks to a large battery replaceable by the user. The laptop is designed to withstand the falls, shocks and clairvil spills is equipped with a TFT LCD screen which folds under pressure.
The system uses AI NPU of Intel Core Ultra Series 2 processors for intelligent management of energy consumption and battery status. Using the large battery option, the VY VISAPRO type has a range of 20.1 hours (video reading) depending on the measurement method of the operating duration of the Jeita 3.0 () battery with an average autonomy of 16 hours in normal use, according to internal NEC tests. The NPU is also used to take charge of cancellation of AI background noise during video meetings and to supply the AI biz assistance agent during the system troubleshooting.
The system can be configured with 4p/4th Core Ultra 5 226V to Core Ultra 7 258V 16 GB at 32 GB of RAM and 256 GB to 1 TB of SSD storage. Ethernet, Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth connectivity is standard, while LTE cell connectivity is available as an option. All models are equipped with two USB-A ports, two USB-C 3.2 Gen 2 ports (PD, DP) and an HDMI port, in addition to a 3.5 mm headphone jack and a microSD card location. The Full HD webcam supports Windows Hello and is equipped with a privacy shutter.
The laptop is available in a standard and light configuration, with a standard or wide battery.
