Stephan Timme takes over the management of the Business Commercial Enterprise Division at Microsoft Switzerland. As a new General Manager, he has been responsible since the beginning of June for the business strategy focused on business customers.
Microsoft Switzerland announces the appointment of Stephan Timme as General Manager Enterprise Commercial Business with a focus on large companies. Stephan Timme took office on June 1, 2025, according to a Microsoft press release. It is now part of the Swiss management and will be directly attached to Catrin Hinkel, CEO of Microsoft Switzerland. He succeeds Sonja Meindl who, according to Microsoft, decided to reorient himself professionally.
Holder of a Bachelor in Business Management and IT, Stephan Timme has more than 20 years of experience in the software industry, SaaS as well as in services. For 11 years, he held various management positions at SAP, notably as a COO and manager of the Cloud Market Unit unit in Switzerland, as well as regional commercial sales vice-president for the EMEA North and MEE regions, according to the press release.
More recently, Stephan Timme has worked at Softwareone as regional president for the DACH region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) and member of the Global Executive Board, said the press release. He directed there the strategic and operational development of affairs on European markets.
