Kane Watson, 28, was digging in the sand with her 18 month old daughter and three step-son when a dune sagged on him. According to help, the young father found himself trapped the first head and his torture lasted about 15 minutes, reports “New Zealand Herald”.
His children called for help, alerting several witnesses, who could not do much for the unfortunate. Hélicported to Auckland Hospital in critical condition, Kane died the day after the accident. In the text accompanying a kitty posted by relatives, Kane is described as “a very loved son, brother and partner, and above all a devoted father”. The young man’s partner is waiting for a baby for the beginning of next year. “His youngest child (…) will never have the chance to meet him, but he will grow up when he heard the stories of this incredible man who loved him even before his birth,” wrote Kristalle Tayler, a family friend.
