Nvidia will provide drivers for Windows 10 until October 2026

Technical support will stop “definitively” on October 14, after ten years of maintenance. As of this date, unless you pay an additional cost or make strange stocks, the system will be found without security fixes, with all the dangers that this represents.

The date approaching inexorably, an increasing number of companies announce their upcoming policy. Even Microsoft must comply with the exercise, especially with Office. The office automation will thus receive up to three years of maintenance on the old platform, under certain conditions.

Latest player to have communicated on the subject, Nvidia. In a blog post published last night, the company announces that new versions of its pilots will be published for Windows 10 for a year after the end of its support. Clearly, there will be pilots until October 2026. After which, Nvidia will drop the case, which will not mean that the pilots will stop working.

On the other hand, any security faults detected will no longer be corrected (it is always the same case). According to NVIDIA, this additional year should give the people concerned time to change equipment.

The manufacturer also recalls that all GPUs based on Maxwell, Pascal and Volta architecture (Titan V, GeForce GTX 10 and GTX 900) will receive a last Game Ready pilot in October 2025. After which, there will only be quarterly security updates.
