OTTAWA – The Canada Border Services Agency (ASFC) says three people have been declared inadmissible in Canada in recent years because they were senior Iranian regime officials.
ASFC indicates that expulsion measures have been taken against them and that a person has been dismissed from Canada.
In 2022 Ottawa said Iranian leaders, including senior government officials and security agencies in Canada because of their involvement in acts of terrorism and human rights violations.
The agency indicates that this designation, extended last year, immediately prohibited access to Canada for the full lister of the regime.
It also allows the ASFC to take the implementation of the law in matters of immigration against any member of the regime who arrived in Canada before or after the designation.
Current hostilities between Israel and Iran have attracted more attention to the potential activities of members of the Iranian regime in Canada.
