It is a little “missed”. The parade of July 14, which was held this Monday morning on the Champs-Élysées to celebrate the national holiday, was marked shortly afternoon, during the passage of the cavalry regiment of the Republican Guard, by the fall of a horse and its rider, while another horse was in rambling.
The images, broadcast on television and relayed on social networks, first show a horse in rambling (without being able to explain why there is no rider), as lost in the middle of the most beautiful avenue in the world. In a “independent” way, at the same time, a horse falls causing his rider with him on the ground, fortunately without making any injuries. We then see the rider succeeding in regaining control over the animal on the ground.
A little earlier, the images had shown another “missed”. An aspiring officer of the inter-armes military school was thus seen with the ear in part in blood, seeming to have cut off with his sword. Which did not prevent him from parading.
Indonesian troops, guest of honor, opened this traditional July 14 parade in Paris on Monday. He highlights an army “lend to combat” in the face of “a brighter world”, in the aftermath of Emmanuel Macron’s promise to further increase defense expenses.
