The third version of the Peugeot 208 versatile sedan and the Peugeot 2008 Urban SUV were both to replace, by 2026, the current generations launched respectively in September and December 2019 by focusing only on the 100% electric! At that time, Carlos Tavares was still in controllers and the lion brand imagined that the electric vehicle market was in 2026 booming. But the electric revolution, however, announced is slow to be done.

The future Peugeot 2008 will not arrive before 2028!
