Raymond Poulet, a man known for years as the alleged contribution of billionaire Robert Miller, responsible for organizing appointments with women who were to offer him sexual services, was arrested by Montreal police. He now faces a series of criminal charges.
Raymond Chicken, who has just been 76 years old, is accused of sexual contact on a person under the age of 14, incitement to sexual contact, sexual assault and pimping. Three victims are mentioned in the arrest mandate filed at the Montreal courthouse. The facts would have taken place between 1995 and 2001.
“I vehemently deny these statements,” said Mr. Poulet, joined by The press. He did not wish to make more comments.
The police investigation and the testimonies collected indicate that Mr. Chicken has long been responsible for making appointments for Robert Miller, when he wanted to obtain sexual services against re-nomination. Mr. Poulet had even moved long-term to a hotel series, within the establishment where the billionaire held his appointments.
The evidence collected by the authorities cuts certain testimonies collected by the program Investigation of Radio-Canada, whose report broadcast in 2023 had pushed the police service of the City of Montreal (SPVM) to reopen an investigation into Robert Miller, after a first unsuccessful investigation in 2009.
Robert Miller had himself been arrested and accused following the police investigation, but recently benefited from a procedures for a state of health.
