A potential attempted murder occurred this Saturday in the New York Metro (United States). A 44 -year -old man was pushed on the rails by his attacker, but fortunately managed to avoid the collision with the train arriving at the station, reports ABC7.
The facts occurred in the evening at a Manhattan station. For an unknown reason, the forties was pushed by the suspect and fell on the rails. Injured, he managed to get back on the platform on his own, with the help of several witnesses, just before the passage of a train to the station.
The attacker sought by the police
The victim was taken care of by the emergency services. Wounded in the face and leg, she was placed on a stretcher, leaving the metro and transported by ambulance to the hospital. His condition is stable and his days are not in danger.
According to the first elements of the investigation opened by the police, the suspect is a man of about 1.80 m who wore a white top, black shorts and a black backpack at the time of the facts, specifies the New York Post. According to witnesses, the suspect spoke alone before approaching the victim to push her. He has fled and is still wanted to date.
