An exchange of gunshots ended in the arrest of two women and four men on Friday, in the arrondissement of Rivière-des-Prairies-Peinte-aux-Trembles, in Montreal.
The Montreal City Police Service (SPVM) was called upon to intervene around 6 p.m. on Boulevard Perras, near Boulevard Saint-Jean-Baptiste. On the scene, the agents found a vehicle involved in the exchange of gunshots, the other vehicle having fled.
Two women, aged 20 and 21, were on board the vehicle and were not injured.
Following research, the police found the other vehicle in Laval. Four men were on board, and none of them had been injured.
The 6 people involved in the exchange of gunshots were arrested and led in the investigation center. They were met by investigators to better understand the reasons behind this event. A perimeter has also been erected around the scene.
