Benjamin Haddad – All diplomatic efforts must be supported, but reality will be on the ground. For months, Ukraine has affirmed its support for a ceasefire while Russia continues its cynical bombardments against Ukrainian civilians. As long as the Russian attack continues, we will continue to support Ukraine and maintain pressure on the Putin regime. Diplomacy is based on this balance of power.
Volodymyr Zelensky will go to Washington tomorrow at Donald Trump’s invitation. What can France and Europeans do to provide him with concrete support during this meeting?
We regularly coordinate with our American, European and Ukrainian partners to prepare for these meetings. Our support for Ukraine is long -term: sanctions, which we have just strengthened with the 18the Package, delivery of arms, work on security guarantees under the leadership of France.
