On August 28, the mammobile will be parked on the Alley of the village hall, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., then from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., in Saint-Loup-Cammas. This radiology firm, making mammograms, is a traveling breast cancer screening device and it allows women aged 50 to 74 to benefit from a free examination, without prescription or distant displacement, in a secure and comfortable setting. Organized by the Professional Territorial Health Community (CPTS) of the Northeast Toulouse, this initiative facilitates rapid and local access to effective screening, an essential act of prevention which can save lives. Breast cancer is the most common cancer in women but detected early, it can be cured in 9 cases out of 10. The mammobile moves directly near you, offering a local service accessible to all women in the town and the surrounding area. To participate, make an appointment on Doctolib by looking for “Mammobile Haute-Garonne” or directly call 06 10 15 34 08. Do not forget to bring your vital and identity document and if possible from its last mammography. This meeting is an opportunity to recall the importance of early screening to detect anomalies and promote rapid management.
