Shortly after the emergence of the Pandemic of COVID-19, the National Institute of Public Health of Quebec (Inspq) quickly became a central player in this crisis. Experties are in particular deployed to create and coordinate a surveillance system, develop tests and set up technologies to follow the propagation of the virus. During this period, the Inspq ensures an assiduous presence in decisive and advisory forums. It is also an essential and credible source of information for the health and social services network, as the media and the population.
