The armed man who pulled out of five people, killing four of them on Monday in Manhattan, before taking his life, would be a former 27 -year -old football player named Shane Devon Tamura, living in Las Vegas, in Nevada, according to CNN.
He had no criminal history, the police said.
A suicide note would have been found in his pocket, in which it was written that he suffered from chronic traumatic encephalopathy (etc.), a brain disease linked to a head trauma, a source close to the investigation in the American media said.
He would have expressed his grievances to the National Football League (NFL), whose offices are in the building that has been attacked.
In his note, he would ask that his brain be studied and would have written: “You cannot measure yourself at the NFL, they will crash you,” said the source, adding that the short note had been scribbled on three pages that the investigators found after the shooting.
The suspect would have died in the building, following what seems to be self -control, according to some sources.
The alleged shooter had a hidden weapon port permit for a handgun as well as a private detective license expired in Nevada, the authorities said.
Police shared a photo of the alleged shooter entering the building with a weapon.
Police did not publicly identify the suspect, whom he presents as the “suspect” of the shooting.
