The results show significant differences according to the types of establishments. The best scores are observed in biberon factories, where 85.3 %of the controls proved to be favorable, nurseries (73 %), rooms with breakfast (72.9 %) and schools (67.7 %). Cafes (66.7 %), caterers (64.7 %) and itinerant operators (54.7 %) display more average results.
Bad students snacks
On the other hand, several sectors are under the average. The scores are low in certain sectors such as catering, where 42.1 %of the controls were favorable, the Pita-maises (29.1 %), prisons (36.4 %) and hospitals (51.5 %), which barely pass the average.

Compared to 2023, the results are generally stable. Variations remain limited according to the types of establishments. For example, friederies increased from 53.1 % to 48.1 %, the caterers increased slightly from 59.8 % to 64.7 %, and the rooms with breakfast fell from 80.0 % to 72.9 %. Biberonneries retain an unchanged rate of 85.3 %.
Allergens and hygiene
The main serious non-conformities are mainly concerned relate to three aspects, explains AFSCA. First, in 38.1 % of cases, establishments did not provide oral information on allergens for non -prepackaged foodstuffs. In 25.9 % of cases, this information also missed in writing. This presents a danger to consumers who can present allergies and is therefore considered by AFSCA as a serious non-compliance case during the controls carried out within the establishments.
Secondly, 22.1 % of establishments did not have a sufficient number of sinks equipped with running water, without manual contact, with soap and hygienic mangiper. Third, 19.2 % had a lack of cleanliness of the surfaces in contact with food.
AFSCA recalls that respecting basic hygiene and information rules is essential to guarantee consumer safety.
