Software Camelot in the final development phase: a return from Golden Sun to Switch 2?

The Japanese studio Camelot Software Planning, known to have signed emblematic licenses such as Golden Sun, Mario Golf et Mario Tenniscurrently seems in the final stretch of the development of his next game. Although the title is still mysterious, many clues point to an exit on the future Nintendo Switch 2.

According to several technical sources and online data, Camelot teams are actively working on location tasks, automated user interface tests as well as interface annotation processes. These steps are generally carried out at the end of production, which suggests that the game is almost ready to enter the launch phase.

Another interesting element: some employees of the studio show a keen interest in 4K technologies and the automatic image annotation systems, suggesting compatibility with more powerful equipment, probably the Switch 2. This technical orientation seems consistent with the expected capacities of the next Nintendo console.

Fans of Golden Sun Many of them hope for a resurrection of the saga, especially if we consider the rate of publication of the titles by Camelot. Between Golden Sun: The Lost Age et Golden Sun: Dark Dawnthe studio has developed six sports games. From Dark Dawnsix other sports games have emerged. If the scheme is repeated, it may well be time for a new episode of Golden Sun.

For the time being, no official details have been communicated by Nintendo or Camelot. But all the signals are green: a Switch 2 project at the end of development, new generation technologies online in sight, and a timing that would stick perfectly with a return of a cult license. The next few months could reserve a nice surprise for RPG lovers and nostalgic GBA.
