Start on the “buoys” for the broc swimming pool

As of June 14, the town of Broc has a swimming pool brought to the taste of the day. In addition, Inaugurated in 1963, the municipal swimming pool had hardly changed until August 2023, the date of the start of the work.

Among the new features are stainless steel basins. Consequently, which allow “better to keep the temperature” and which offer a better lifespan, as Boris Sprenger, municipal councilor. The swimming pool now offers a three -meter diver as well as a slide. Something to rejoice young and old, even if it is deemed “too slow” by certain children. In addition. a new paddling pool has been set up to offer the youngest a “playful, covered and shaded infrastructure”, specifies the municipal councilor Gruerien.

In addition to new features on the basins, the Broc swimming pool has other major changes. The new reception building start “buoys” broc swimming pool now houses new changing rooms as well as a friendly refreshment bar with terrace.

In total, nearly seven million francs were invested to modernize and secure space.

Since its opening on June 14, the swimming pool has experienced a record crowd. Helped by three weeks of heat wave, it displays a “more than positive, even extraordinary” assessment, says Boris Sprenger.

The municipal councilor is delighted with the satisfaction rate of visitors since the reopening at the beginning of the summer. Indeed. the Broquoises and Broquois are enchanted by these new features, as this resident explains: “They have changed, the locker rooms are nice, the baths too, well secure. I love the ground, which is a little soft for children.”

Only negative point: “it lacks a bit of trees”, deplores a customer. But the broc swimming pool having planned everything, additional trees will be planted next fall.
