Still obstructing roads during the weekend

Motorists who wish to take the road on this last weekend of the construction vacation will have to take their pain in patience, due to the obstacles provided on certain roads.

The Samuel-de Champlain bridge, Highway 25 in Montreal and Highway 40 in Terrebonne as well as the Laviolette bridge are affected by these weekly obstacles.

In Brossard, the ramp of exit 6 on Highway 10 in west will be closed from Friday 23 to Saturday 8 a.m., but a detour is available at the 76 exit.

In Montreal, motorway 25 south will also be closed between exit 5 and access to Avenue Souligner Est, from Friday 23 a.m. to Saturday 8 a.m. and from Saturday 11 p.m. to Sunday 9 a.m.

A detour via the Hochelaga and Dickson streets in southern direction is available, according to the Ministry of Transport and Sustainable Mobility which specifies that the La Fontaine tunnel will remain open.

In Varennes, Route 132 is affected by a complete closure between the Picardie climb and rue Quévillon, from Monday 7 a.m. until the end of September.

On the Pont Laviolette, between Trois-Rivières and Bécancour, 1 track per direction will be open to traffic, since 2 lanes out of 4 will be closed from Sunday 6 p.m. to Thursday 6:30 a.m.
