The industrial group Sulzer has managed to advance its revenue and profitability over the first six months of 2025, allowing the Zurich group to confirm its financial forecasts for the whole year.
(Keystone-ATS) Turnover increased by 2.6% (+6.3% organically) over one year at 1.74 billion francs, while the gross operating result (EBITDA) increased from 9.5% to 251.0 million in the first half, detailed the company on Thursday in a press release. The EBITDA margin took 0.9 points at 14.4%.
The command entries, which allow you to anticipate the upcoming revenues, on the other hand, fell by 5.6% to 1.96 billion.
As for net profit, it signed up at 128.2 million, up 9.2% compared to the first half of 2024.
These key figures are mixed compared to the consensus of analysts consulted by the AWP agency. While in order and turnover is almost in line with the expectations of the market, the EBITDA exceeds them slightly, but the net profit is clearly lacking.
The management confirmed its forecasts for the whole year, namely an EBITDA margin at 15%, as well as organic growth in revenue between 5% and 8% and command entries of 2-5%.
