“Symptoms appear 12 to 72 hours after ingestion of a contaminated food”: crème fraîche recalled for a risk of botulism, here

For the recall, “Botulism is a rare disease that most often results from the consumption of a contaminated food containing botulinum toxin produced by Clostridium botulinum”, details the government site that specifies “that symptoms generally appear 12 to 72 hours after ingestion of a contaminated food, but they can develop earlier or later (2 hours up to 10 days) “.

Among the products concerned, we therefore find the crème fraîche thank you 30 % in 45 cl whose consumption deadline is set for August 7, 2025.

Regarding the marketing of this pot, it started on July 16 and ended on July 19, 2025. All of France is concerned.

Finally, two other pots were also recalled. This is the cream 30 % in 45 cl and the 15 % in 20 cl.

The products were sold in the Côtes-d’Armor, Finistère, Ille-et-Vilaine, Loire-Atlantique and Morbihan, while marketing took place from July 3 to 19, with a deadline for consumption up to August 3.
