And Microsoft further enriches its application of a new functionality by publishing a new update of Link to Windows on Android: the possibility of locking your PC remotely.
Locking your Windows 11 PC from your Android smartphone, it’s now possible
You may happen to have to be absent briefly and forget to lock your PC. Thanks to the update published by Microsoft for the Link to Windows application on Android, there is no need to redo the whole opposite way: In one click, you can now lock your Windows 11 PC from a distance.
- Take out your phone,
- Open the Link to Window application
- Press the brand new “Lock the PC” button
- Your PC will be locked automatically and your phone will be disconnected from Windows Phone Link until you authenticate again.
Thanks to its phone Link and Link to Windows phone updates, Microsoft continues to improve interoperability between Windows 11 PCs and smartphones.
