The Confederation will revise its savings program a little by 2027. The Federal Council unveiled Cups of 2.4 billion on Wednesday, against 2.7 initially planned. He has reviewed certain points in favor of the cantons.
The government intends to maintain the main lines it had defined in January. Following the consultation, he agreed to review certain points, among others in favor of the cantons, he wrote in a press release. And to cite in particular the packages paid to the cantons and financial equalization.
Among other measures, the Federal Council also intends to temporarily give up dissociating the budget of the Confederation and that of the AVS to avoid further complicating discussions concerning the financial stabilization of insurance. Abandoning the planned measure will however decrease the targeted relief volume by at least 100 million francs.
The government also looks back on its proposals concerning the taxation of capital withdrawals from the 2nd and 3rd pillars, which had aroused shields to the right. The Federal Council still spares the regional and local press, by maintaining current subsidies.
Given the various modifications, the volume of relief will still amount to some 2.4 billion francs in 2027 and nearly 3 billion from 2028, writes the government.
