While Windows 10 has just been entitled to a year of stay, Microsoft has not finished pushing the adoption of Windows 11 to the most recalcitrant. A new blog post from the Redmond firm is now points to the eight major reasons to install the update. Here is which one!
Go from Windows 10 to Windows 11, the eight key points of Microsoft
“Stay safe with Windows 11, Copilot+ and Windows 365 PCs before the end of Windows 10 support”This is the name of Microsoft’s new blog post on June 24, 2025. Written by Yusuf Mehdi, director of the marketing section for the general public at Microsoft, he returns to the end of Windows 10 while highlighting the major reasons to go to Windows 11.
Eight, the first concerns security. Thanks to TPM 2.0 and the Smart App Control and VBS functions, Windows 11 would offer a “Decrease of 62 % of security incidents and a 3 -time reduction in firmware attacks”.
Microsoft then talks about a faster and effective experience thanks to monthly updates, with “A shorter response time in standby mode, faster web navigation and improved overall performance”. Result: Windows 11 PCs would be 2.3 times faster than those operating under Windows 10.
To reassure, it is then mentioned that the interface remains familiar, while offering a wind of modernity and simplicity (multitasking, starting menu or tasks bar). Bonus: Accessibility has been improved by a plethora of functions and optimizations.
There follows the highlighting of Copilot under Windows 11, delivering a good dose of generative artificial intelligence. Copilot+ PCs are also mentioned, with “Exclusive experiences optimized by AI” Like recall, click to do and an improved search system.
Microsoft underlines that its latest operating system is cut to the world of work, with “Features that improve multitasking and speed up 50 % workflows compared to Windows 10”or even a “Back on investment estimated at 250 %” Thanks to IA or even Windows 11 improved performance and safety.
Last point: the plurality of computers available on the market embedding the update. The opportunity for Microsoft to guarantee an extended offer of solutions, as flexible as it is efficient.
It remains to be seen whether all of this will succeed in convincing Windows 10 users to go under Windows 11. One thing is certain, the time for change is approaching with the end of the support of the previous operating system.
