The National Capital Commission (CCN) will not issue a permit for the concert of singer Maga Sean Feucht scheduled for Saturday at the Jacques-Cartier park in Gatineau.
The CCN will not issue the event permit that had been requested for Jacques-Cartier Nord park following consultations with the Gatineau police service and due to concerns about public security for and around this event
said a spokesperson for the CCN In an email sent to Radio-Canada Wednesday evening.
Sean Feucht, who presented himself without success to the American Congress as a Republican in 2020, is also a missionary and an author who spoke out against the 2SLGBTQ+community, the right to abortion and the critical theory of the race.
The singer militates so that government policy in the United States is based on traditional Christian values, while the country is plagued by a spiritual war

The show by Mr. Feucht in Nova Scotia Wednesday was moved from a historic site near Halifax to a rural area north of the city, after Parks Canada revoked the license. This is the first show of a national tour planned on several dates.
On Wednesday, Charlottetown, Moncton and Quebec City also revoked permits for the shows that were to take place.
