American actor Malcolm-Jamal Warner, known for his role as Theo in the series “The Cosby Show” died at 544.

The man would have drowned in Costa Rica where he spent a family vacation, reports People magazine.

The actor died Sunday “asphyxiation” after drowned on the beach of Cohuita. Similarly, according to a report by the Costa Rican judicial police.

Warner began his acting career in 1984. when he was only 14 years old, obtaining the role of Theo, the son of the Huxable family, in the popular sitcom “The Cosby Show”.

The “Cosby Show” has marked a whole generation in the United States. by chronizing the fate of an African-American family in the upper middle class.

After the end of the series. he shot in several films and series including “Malcom and Eddie” or “Reed Between the Lines”.

More recently, viewers have seen him in “9-1-1” or “Alert: Missing Persons Unit”.

Last June. he launched a “Not all Hood” broom where he opened to mental health problems, especially in the black community.

He is survived by his spouse and daughter.
