The Tour de France will start on Saturday July 5. The large loop will start from Lille (North) for its 112nd edition. Back on the impressive figures for the sporting event.

Because on the program, there will be 52,500 meters of elevation gain, the equivalent of climbing Everest six times in three weeks. To get there, the runners will have to hydrate themselves in very large quantities: around 46,000 cans will be distributed to them.
After the effort, make way for comfort. To house teams and organizers, the Tour de France reserves thousands of hotels in advance: around 40,000 rooms. And the bikes in all of this? At this level, they could be qualified as collector’s parts: up to 58,000 euros for those of the British team.
