In Belgium, it’s a day of celebration. This Monday, July 21, the Belgians celebrate the national holiday, remembering this occasion for the oath of Leopold I on the Constitution in 1831. A special day for the royal family. This morning, Mathilde and Philippe de Belgique were therefore at the great mass of the Cathedral Saints-Michel-et-Gudule de Brussels, surrounded by their four children, Elisabeth, Gabriel, Emmanuel and Eléonore, that we had not seen together from the 2025 greeting card.
They met this afternoon for the military and civil parade on the palaces – in the same outfits as in the morning, except for Eléonore who replaced her green dress for her uniform. And, this time, they were joined by the enlarged royal family, including Princess Delphine, daughter of the former sovereign Albert II born out of marriage of the adulterous relationship with Sybille de Selys Longchamps, and therefore half-sister of the King of the Belgians. Since her gratitude within the royal family, she has witnessed the national holiday every year. And she does not hesitate to opt for daring looks. This edition was no exception.
Princess Delphine’s stylistic message
For her outfit, Princess Delphine has chosen a piece of the Non-binary Creator Judassime, a corseted and split red dress, dotted with eyelets, which she wore with red heart-shaped sunglasses. A way to publicly display your support for the LGBTQIA + community in style. Her husband Jim O’Hare, also opted for a navy blue suit with a red tie matched to the dress of his wife.
