Behind Flyoobe, there is a community of developers that closely follows Windows 11 developments, including the methods used by Microsoft to strengthen controls. With the 24H2 version, expected in the coming months, the company has introduced new constraints, such as the obligation to support the popcnt instruction, still absent from certain former processors. This type of lock does not go unnoticed in the community, which sees it as a voluntary strategy to accelerate the renewal of the park.
Flyoobe: a temporary solution without warranty
Flyoobe presents himself as a form of technical, almost political response, faced with this logic of planned obsolescence. But the developers remain cautious: no promise of stability is made.
