The harmonized inflation index in France increased in July 2025 by 0.9% SU

According to final data published by the National Institute of Statistics and Economic Studies (INSEE) at 8:45 am, the Harmonized Consumer Price Index (IPCH) in France was 125.2 points in July 2025 (base 100 in 2015). Thus, the level of harmonized inflation amounts to +0.3% over a month and at +0.9% over one year.

In June, the harmonized consumer price index reached 124.85 points, an inflation of +0.4% over a month and +0.9% over one year.

What to know about this indicator: As the consumer price index (IPC), the harmonized consumer price index makes it possible to measure inflation, that is to say the average variation between 2 dates of the products of the products consumed by households. Established by the European Union, IPCH makes it possible to compare inflation between each country and to calculate the level of inflation at European level. IPCH is the subject of 2 monthly publications, a provisional (at the end of the month) and a final (around the 13th of the following month).
