DISAPPEARANCE. The Sûreté du Québec (SQ) located, Wednesday evening, in a wooded in the Saint-Nicéphore sector, Xaverine Kamagaju, an disappeared worn since yesterday morning.
Unfortunately, the 68 -year -old Drummondvilloise was found lifeless.
Recall that research intensified in the morning on Wednesday. The SQ was helped by research specialists, including researchers from SIUCQ, Eureka and Estrie research and rescue.
The research stopped around 8 p.m. Wednesday evening, in a wooded against 4618, boulevard Saint-Joseph.
“Out of respect for the family, no other details will be disclosed,” said the SQ in written communication.
Xaverine Kamagaju had left her home in Drummondville on June 24 around 7:30 a.m. in the morning.
The police had established a research zone in the parking of Jean Coutu in Saint-Nicéphore. A checkpoint had also been erected at the corner of boulevard Saint-Joseph and rue Brouillette. This morning, the SQ had established a command post behind the IGA supermarket in Place Charpentier.
