Successful festivities for the association “Neuchâtel aerodrome is yours”. This Saturday, open doors are held until 9 p.m. on its Colombier site, usually completely closed to the public. Varied animations were on the program, with the possibility of discovering planes and cars from another time. Many craftsmen and stands were also offered to the curious who came to discover the aerodrome tracks.
But the highlight of the day, expected by the majority of the people met on the spot, it was clearly the passage of the Swiss patrol above the Neuchâtel coast. For almost 30 minutes, the white cross planes did the show, before being relayed by the Classic Formation and the Beechcraft.
At midday, the organizers of the day already had a smile when they saw the crowd on the spot. Even if it was impossible to count the number of people present, with a free entry, the president of Neuchâtel Michael Morrissey airport estimated that “thousands” had already made the trip. /Swe
