An elegant smartphone with a large screen
Despite its very contained price, the new Xiaomi Poco F7 is a well -designed smartphone, with really neat finishes. Flat screen protected by Gorilla Glass 7i glass, aluminum alloy frame, flat slices, 94.23 %screen ratio… This new flagship should offer a very pleasant grip.
Special mention for silver color, a futuristic bit with its two -tone back decorated with geometric elements. The Poco F7 is also very solid since it is certified IP68; It can therefore be immersed in water up to 1 m deep for 30 minutes without suffering afterwards.
On the screen side, Xiaomi opted for a large 1.5K AMOLED slab (2,772 x 1,280 pixels) of 6.83 inch, whose maximum brightness is announced at 3,200 nits in localized, but at 1,700 nits on the whole screen. Reading the screen under the sun should not be a problem. We are also entitled to a 120 Hz refresh rate, the assurance of excellent fluidity on the navigation and mobile game side, but also to a Dolby Vision and HDR10+compatibility. Followers of streaming series will be able to enjoy well detailed images.
AI is there
This Poco F7 is also equipped with a Snapdragon 8S Gen 4 chip, a nice surprise on a smartphone at this price, which should allow it to deliver a big power on a daily basis. On the software side, it is Hyperos 2 which is in place and which gives us a more refined interface, in particular with the fluid Cloud, a discreet notification system which does not bomb you with text. Let us not forget the arrival of Xiaomi Hyperai, an artificial intelligence like Galaxy AI, which offers several very useful features, such as automatic conversion of speech into text, real -time translation or even article summary. Google Gemini is also there.
On the photo side, the Poco F7 has a module comprising two cameras separated by a diagonal colored demarcation. The 50 Mpx main sensor stands there alongside an ultra-angle of 8 Mpx.
Finally, concerning autonomy, the smartphone contains a 6,500 mAh battery, which allows it, depending on the brand, to operate for more than 16 hours before having to be recharged. Above all, this battery can recharge at the level of 90 W in a wired. We can therefore, according to Xiaomi, reach an 80 % load in just 30 minutes. Wireless recharge goes up to 22.5 W.
